We launched Heir Raisin’ for the Cask Ales and Strange Brews festival hosted by the Franciscan Well in January 2018. We brewed an imperial red ale and cask conditioned it on some rum soaked raisins. A one off batch that didn’t last very long!
Style – Imperial Red Ale.
ABV – 7%
Flavour – Malty, boozy, rum sweetness, caramel maltiness.
Grain – pale ale malt, cara red, flaked oats, amber malt, dark munich, wheat, crystal 82, roasted barley
Hops – Equinox, Bramling Cross, Centennial, Columbus.
Brewed using our own spring water.
Unfiltered and unpasteurised.
